Client Services Consultant


Department:                          Operations

Station:                                   Windhoek

Reports to: Senior Client Service Consultant

Purpose of the Job:

To provide support, information, and problem-solving services to clients.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Provide coaching, guidance ad training to members/pensioner and their dependents/beneficiaries and all stakeholders.
  • Provide client specific enquiries resolution services.
  • Establish nature and complexity of request and provide information.
  • Ensure that client complaints are handled, and effective feedback is established.
  • Provide problem solving.
  • Assist with the completion and guidance of documentation to be attached to various benefits claims.
  • Pre-verify claims/documents received and transit them for further processing.
  • Receive and register documents.
  • Provide client after care service.
  • Assist various units doing processing work such as annuities, death claims etc.
  • Capture, maintain and audit an up-to date database of client information regularly on system.
  • Perform biometrics enrolments and verification to annuitant as per standards and procedures.
  • Rotate through duties with other team members in order to enhance capacity building.
  • Provision of member education services using multiple channels
  • Detecting and preventing fund fraud and loss to the company through system scrutinizing.

Job-related qualifications and experience

  • Diploma in Business Administration or Accounting & Finance or Marketing from a recognized Institution.
  • Three (3) years working experience in client services environment and one (1) year in a Retirement Fund Industry.
